Reclaimed clay, majority of it Black Mountain. HF Shino. Reduction fired.
This is easily the best teapot I’ve ever made. It has a perfect, arched, pour. The lid fits flush, and when pour liquid, if you plug the hole, it stops the pour. I wish every teapot I made turned out this well. I do wish I had used a different glaze, I’m not a fan of the copper color, it turned out stronger than I assumed.
